I get angry as thunder and stubborn sometimes
And that doesn't make me appealing
My friends put up with me and I don't know why
But we share the same loving feelings
And I wish I could be more like my mother sometimes
She turned out to be pretty strong
The world's handed her cards that I couldn't have played
And yet she's still carried on
I'm not articulate or witty at best
But people seem to think that I'm funny
But half of the time I think I know why
It's cos I do stupid things most of the time

So I can't write pretty songs or tales worth remembering
I just write down what's on my mind and so
This is what you're hearing

Pretty soon my dreams will rip at the seams cos
I can't find a way to express them
And I know I should find me a new piece of mind
Because someday I know I will forget to
And I don't have intelligence beyond compare
But I try to keep myself informed
Which is hard to do when you hate the news
And newspapers are for spreading on the floor

I eat Tofu and vegetables because I think
That animals are our equals
I care more for them than my fellow man
Because mankind is way too destructive
And war is not the answer to the questions we pose
It's simply a way to make money
It's a ridiculous way to satisfy the greed
Of the people that are running our country

So we can all raise our hands
We can all shout
Till the lungs in our chests have caved in and our throats have dried out
We can all raise our hands

To let them know we're the threat and the ones to be worried about
